Also, fwiw, I had a sick cat that, let's just say, ruined an oriental rug of mine. I dragged it in the yard and power washed it -- used Dawn first, then Resolve Spray & Wash. Rinsed it good, then laid it out to dry. It took DAYS to dry, and on the last day, when I was going to bring it in, it rained, of course. So, it was outside for a week and a half. The sun bleached it from a multi, mostly red rug to a neutral (no sign of red). I was shocked. Now I'm going to overdye that puppy.

1) Does anyone know how to dispose of the big bucket of dye water? I mean, you can't just pour that stuff in the yard, right? 2) When you pull the rug out of the dye bath, it must weight a ton and be dripping with dye. Do you use a huge tarp to put it on, or what? Thanks.

I have this Jennair http://www.jennair.com/flash.cmd?/#/product/JES8850CAS/ glass top range and love love love it. I cook a lot, and I have all Le Creuset cookware, and it works just fine. You do have to be careful not to slam things around on it, and to clean the stove top AND bottom of the pots well before using. But it cooks great, cleans great, and my favorite thing is how many different actions I can have going at once. I've had mine for 4 years and it still looks new.

This is a weird article. There aren't really any good ideas, and the photos don't really seem to have anything to do with the subject.

So many people I know aren't drinking alcohol, I've stopped taking it as a default, generic gift. I've been doing good olive oil, good balsamic vinegar, etc. Instead of flowers, I've done bouquets of fresh herbs, parsley, basil, whatever's fresh in the garden or available at the store.

I do something similar to Keen Olive, but I use cheap vodka as the base, not water. I put drops of different scents, depending on the season ... lemon oil, eucalyptus, lavender, etc. I have older cats and a puppy, and this works well.

I had a very similar bath. Painted the walls Restoration Hardware's very dark brown paint, with white trim, white pedestal sink, white toilet, white tile floors, chrome and white wall sconces. Used bright chartreuse towels and a coral colored vase. Looked amazing. Dark walls in a small space tend to recede, and the space looks bigger.
