Ohmygosh, are you kidding me? That is the best play kitchen EVER! We have a vintage-y white and chrome fridge as a nod to my late grandfather and his place where we spent our summers pulling down the heavy old handle to open the door for a cool drink. Dig. Yay for vintage-looking but safe and up to date kids toys!

Hi thrace -- sorry I didn't see your question until now. The walls and ceilings of Dylan's room are from the Benjamin Moore Historic collection -- "Edgecomb Grey" (which is warmer than it sounds and we have throughout our house as a neutral) and "Palladian Blue" (which isn't as cool as a regular light blue, and we doubled the formula on that one for a stronger impact, since the room is so dark.) Hope that's helpful. Good luck with your little buddy's space!

Simply breathtaking. What a gorgeous, subtle, playful use of color and whimsy... simultaneously modern and nostalgic. Makes me want to be a wee baby girl again and move right in. Cheers and well done!

Crisp and cool and sweet, but not too sweet. Effortlessly lovely. Great that you have a budding DIY-er with the monogrammed trash can!

This room is just perfect. The palette is so fresh and modern, but almost vintagey-70's (in the best way) at the same time. The pictures transport me to a little lemonade tea-party with future-toddler-Osianna. Lovely.

Thanks so much for the kind feedback -- it's humbling and lovely just to have his room featured on this site I admire and frequent, but I'm so very flattered by your words. Cheers, all!

er517 -- The egg prints are actual pages from ancient science/nature books and were bought over the years in antique shops, at flea markets and online. Look for "ephemera" in a shop's description, or sale's listings. And try searching "egg lithograph" on eBay for a sampling -- or "flower," "fish," or "vegetable" for some other interesting examples.

Thanks for the link tmoore -- those fabric slings are terrific! Already thinking how/where to incorporate this idea in our house...
