The hardest thing is spening the holidays in a country that doesn't celebrate them, meaning you may have to work and for everybody around you it's just a normal day. I agree - that fridge is nowhere near pint sized!!! They come in sizes much smaller than that! Unless Joy has a large family, surely it's plenty big enough? The oven also looks standard European size to me. Not so difficult to manage with either of those. But the room itself, yes, that's pretty small.
