I love your space! Maybe try adding a curtain with a subtle pattern or texture, not super bold or colourful, maybe something like this:

I aggree with bethaneebee ,I like the white subway tile too, so much more versatile.

If you are second guessing it, don't do it.
It's not an easy change if you hate it once it's up.
