To get rid of a whole bunch of leftover roast chicken, I made a chicken pot pie. I used a bag of frozen veggies, a potato, chicken stock and some flour to thicken. Then poured the soupy veggie stuff into a baking dish with the leftover chicken and layered some pie dough on top. Could not have been easier and kept the hubby well-fed for days. :-) One Woman, One Rotisserie Chicken, and Five Days: A Menu Plan Cooking for One |

This is such a great idea. I've just been feeling guilt about the tons of bags of clothing I've been meaning to get rid of that are just cluttering my hallway. I could also easily see doing this with books too. How To Declutter, Recycle, and Refresh Your Wardrobe! |

When we have houseguests (who are not staying longer than a week) we don't allow them to do any cleaning or cooking. It's just the way that I like to host, and it keeps me calm since I'm a bit possessive of my kitchen. The Considerate House Guest | Apartment Therapy New York |
