I have a narrow hallway like this one and love the collage idea. Are the postcards glued to the wall? It doesn't appear to have a "backing" and would like to replicate this. Thanks.

Last time I checked, this was a comment section, not a referendum.

Can't we just agree to disagree?

I don't get why eveyone is dumping on Colorado.

But then again, I've learned that internet "expression" makes people more aggressive than they would be otherwise.

I'm soooo tired of hearing the word "sustainable" as a KA-CHING value; it's Marketing 101.

Create the *illusion* and people will buy it.

I could a lifetime of memories of a fabulous trip for $13K rather than die on the bed I spent that much for.

Why is it that everything that is "good" and "green" is such an expensive commodity?

I have "cotton, wool, horsehair, flax, steel and wood" in my backyard.

If I gather it together and turn it into a mattress, will you pay me $13K for it?

Let me know. I'm struggling and could use the money.

I'm with Hayden - I love falling asleep to the sound of a fan. My 10-year old fan finally died, so I pulled out an old desktop fan I had, called Cool Breeze (CT-1216). It barely makes a sound on setting 1 and 2. Had to put it on setting 3 for sound to sleep to and it does provide a nice cool breeze (duh :)

I have A/C too but only use it when absolutely necessary. Just don't care for it...not even in my car.

Thanks for the tips, everyone!

I have an oval area rug (photo was not published for some reason) in the living room that has so many wonderful accent colors (buttercup yellow dominant base with deep and soft greens, saffron, peach, violet, deep purple, splashes of terra cotta).

Wanted to use that rug as a basis for deciding on the wall color and also pull accent colors from it to use for pillows, etc.

The rug includes both warm and cool colors so am having a hard time deciding if I should go "all warm" or "all cool" for the adjoining kitchen/living room walls or maybe just play it safe and keep them white. Ideas?

Totally agree about ditching the country curtains/stars.

Thanks again!
