I don't have the room for a dedicated space, but I do have a mat I keep rolled under the bed that I use expressly for meditation in the morning. Portable sacred space?

Hmm. Well, I already put Sriracha in everything else. Why not?

I have to own up to my collection, as well; there's not a room in my apartment sans pachyderm.

Oh, also just noticed that all the countries in the Lesser Antilles weren't even awarded dots.

Lots of people noticed Ireland--but it also looks like the map doesn't have a line separating Serbia from Montenegro or Kosovo. There's a couple more ethnically insensitive oversights.

There also isn't a dotted line between Morocco and Western Sahara, but that's not as big a deal.

If you are going to market something as a "modern world map" at least use modern borders.

Really liking that color contrast in pic one.

What an ugly word. New words should only exist if they are prettier than the old ones.

@ earthanddust: Well, feel free to organize your shelves by color, but I'm keeping The Hobbit and LOTR trilogy together, not divying them up onto the green, blue, red, and purple shelves respectively. That just doesn't make any sense.

It's such a shame when perfectly good shelves are wasted on people who don't appreciate them.

All these pictures are giving this bibliophile shelf-lust.

Though, to the first picture, I have to say that I don't think anyone who actually reads the books they own organizes them on the shelf by color ...

Mama T and Spock are cool; putting someone/thing else's face in the famous Che picture is kinda stale.

Are the concrete benches/stool for inside? I could maybe understand a concrete garden bench made to look like it was upholstered, but I'm not sure I'd ever choose concrete over cushions for my indoor seating.

Since when did "grown up and glamorous" involve a ton of pink pillows, the top half of a mannequin, and Christmas lights strung over a baby blue armoire?

I agree with other posters--the couch is awesome and could better showcase its innate awesomeness sans pillows.

Plastic spoons? Seriously? That belongs in the dorm-decorating post. Maybe.

I guess this is cute some places ... here in the South, Mason jars have a certain stigma and I just don't think I could bring myself to hang a lot of them on the front porch.

If you're going to copy, almost verbatim, the opening sentence or two from Wikipedia on Shakers, you should at least cite.

I'll agree with the other two posters, though--timeless!

I'm with kantos1. If I'm putting something on the wall, it's going to make sense.

I'd also be interested to see that "Barcelona via Moscow" trip.
