Let me add my voice to the consensus. I'm a woman who is not, in fact, anti-porn, but there is no place for this on Apartment Therapy. If this becomes a regular feature, you will most certainly lose this daily reader. Why Does My Partner Watch Porn? Answers to all the questions you've ever wanted to ask about your relationships |

Gorgeous! I want to find a place to use this color now. It's a wonderful transformation overall, and I think the coffee table is particularly smart as a balance to the weight of the wall color. I would consider a different window treatment, though: this one is rather warm to the room's rich cool, and I also find it a bit more rough-hewn to the room's clean lines. What about a bold Marimekko-type pattern? Something with blue, yellow, and white? Before & After: A Deep Blue TV Room |

Adore the before!! But I guess I prefer the vintage whimsy (the great striped lamp!, the ticking stripe sheets, the sweet art) to the overly crisp and mod. I dunno: you do pull off the second look very well, it just seems a bit less original/more obviously designey to me. Before & After: AJ Takes His Bedroom from Drab to Fab Handjobs (For the Home) |

Oh yes, absolutely. It's delightful to see that we're actually in the overwhelming majority. Though ours is among the more crowded queen-sized beds here: my husband and I share it with two 60lb dogs (one of whom often insists on sharing a pillow). It's a joy like no other, though I do find myself in some contorted positions from time to time! Furry Bedfellows: Do You Sleep with Your Pet? NY Times |

It's the ceiling fan that has to go! The plaster mount around it looks to match the beautiful crown moulding--that's all a keeper. Just paint the textured ceiling a darker color, change the fan to a classy/campy chandelier, and you will have something beautiful! Don't worry about the swirls: they're not ideal, but they are not half as tacky as the fan. How To Remove Plaster Detailing On Ceiling? Good Questions |

Alas and alack! I'm sorry to chime in: SO much better before. You might be able to salvage this with light gray on, say, the chair railing and ceiling--something to open it back up. The gloss is just a misstep. I feel choked. So sorry. And look, if you love it, then ignore us all. But I don't think it's having the effect on your (virtual) visitors that you'd like! It's wonderful! Pretty please: what paint colors are those in the bedroom? The combination of the walls and trim is dreamy. Nick Jessica's Spanish Revival Apartment House Call | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |
