This is lovely and the light is wonderful. The fact that the kitchen is original and no one has pulled down the wall between it and the living room is a king sized bonus. The simplicity is bliss! There are two doors on the middle wall in the corner of the LR. Is that very slim storage that is not noted on the floor plan or do they lead to the bedroom? BTW, like others, I’m giddy to see the floor plan. The geek in me can’t resist.

Just as important as the home -- it’s so great to see a couple that seems to be crazy for each other. And, thanks for sharing a little part of yourselves.

I love it!! Very simple and clean. And who cares if someone else doesn’t like a particular finish or whatever. Just don’t invite them over for wine!! In fact, regarding marble, I’ve been in many homes in Italy and France that have had marble counters for, oh, I don’t know, at least 30 + years. And they look FABULOUS!!! A great patina and a warm feel. So don’t sweat it, just enjoy.

On a separate note, I would love to put some Akurum Cabinets in my laundry room but the contractor says it is not worth it since he has to assemble them and prefers to install Kitchen Craft Calvi which is thermafoil but wood base not the particle board like IKEA. Anything??

I fear it may provoke seizure activity. Who is Pantone and why should we care what they think? Are they famous in some way?

Aside from that I always do love my daily fix from AT!! Like a pleasant oasis. So thank you!!

Thanks for sharing though I am scratching my head as to how that all fits in 500 sf. What are the overall dimensions of the house footprint?

Also, what size / brand is that bathtub?
