Not every one wants to be in an empty space.
Sometimes being surrounded by lots of things you love can be comforting. To each his own.

Gorgeous dresser, and I love the mid century aesthetic, but I live in NY where most people don't have space for such a piece. It's the size of my buddy's bedroom!

I think that this refrigerator is adorable! Even if it is overpriced I would buy one. However, the drawbacks are it's energy consumption is something I would have to learn more about since I doubt it is very efficient when it comes to that. Also, sometimes store lots of things in my freezer since I don't have the time (or patience) to go to the grocery every few days. I think if I might use a fridge like this in my future guest house or some setting like that, where it is not for primary use.

This is unfortunate for renters who are stuck in a lease for an apartment the initially rented with the wall up, and were forced to take it down. If they have a room mate, they are now left exposed! However, I am sure that savvy New Yorkers will find design solutions.

I must point out that this does not mean that no one may put up a partition in their home. It just needs to be up to code and have the proper permits. This adds to the cost of putting up the wall, and greatly limits the # apartments that can do so, since the fire code requirements will inevitably render some apartments unfit for partitioning.

Seems like a big deal, but in NYC this should be a small issue for city dwellers to overcome. We always make a way!

What a gorgeous bench it is after reupholstering! I love that the fabric is fun and vibrant, but doesn't feel juvenile.

I am not really a huge fan of the design aesthetic here, however I love how lived in this space looks. Having seen a lot of these units unfurnished, or just cold looking, this seems very warm, and inviting, although just a tad bit cluttered... But hey that's just my personal opinion. What ever works for the residents I guess!

The name is One Brooklyn Bridge and if anyone has an interest in living here let me know. I know the building, there are some available units and it is an awesome place to live!

I just happen to think that magazine rack in bathroom is so cheesy, its like something dad thought of!

I think that trimming it out and putting some shelves would be super cool and affordable. Get some scented candles, bath beads etc, give it a spa feel and you get some fresh scents. Put and Ipod dock there too. then light the candles, play your favorite playlist and take a nice bubble bath!

OMG, I love it! I think they nailed it!

Some people love to hate Ikea, but I think you get what you pay for, and if you dont have tons of money to pay for high end stuff, you get a great deal. I frequent Ikea Red Hook. I like to know whats out their for my renters on a budget. NYC apts are tight, and you can usually find something to fit any space, any aesthetic, and any budget.

GREAT alternative and wonderful print. Anthropologie isn't in every one's budget. : (

I think there is a dude on Houston who has similar stools. I was thinking of getting a couple, don't know if it's going to fly with the old ball and chain. Wish I had a second house just for the cool things I always want to buy, but don't work with my primary residence decor. Maybe one day!

It kind of makes me think of Pinkberry! I love the decor but I don't know if I could actually live in the space, I might go crazy. It does seem so fun though... But can you really relax? I do enjoy the photo of the lady with lips apparently pressed against glass in the middle photo.

It is very store like. I just so happen to love store design so...
