I think these hangers are wonderful and creative, they are not meant for long term use. But they would be great for occasional use in high light area to create interest and personality for your closet. They would look great in ours!

I think the organization of your design is really wonderful, the color choice is also very cheerful. But the best part is the little piece of carpet that invite kids to use part of the closet as an activity space. I wish there were more design like this.
We like the idea of making portions of the closet part of kids' activity space, perhaps a tree house inside your closet like this?

If you are going to cover the closet with a curtain, get them extra long and hang them from the ceiling to the floor in front of the closet. It'll look nicer and more elegant.
