i like this carrier, and was convinced (because i hate the tails of my moby dragging on the ground when i tie it on on-the-go) until i saw the price. not in my budget.

i have been longing for the Parents Busy Zoo from Target for my son and daughter to share. That is a great brand - Travis has the Parents bike. I love the wood with the bright colors together, and it's one of his favorite toys.

totally agreed w/ absurdlittlebird, based on conversations i've recently had w/ friends who are working on potty learning with their children. i cringe to think of cleaning out a little potty seat with all of its nooks and crannies...

also, when i went to add the Boon potty seat to my Amazon wishlist, all of the reviews that I read said that the little hole was not big enough for most kidlets, and that the er, penis guard (?) was actually painful for some of them. i was bummed because i thought it was a really cool one (has storage, doubles as a bench that you can sit on by the tub for bath time).

but yeah, now i think we'll just stick him on the toilet when the time comes for potty learning, and skip the little potty seat. plus if i try to cram one more thing into our tiny bathroom we might go insane.

I will pretend I didn't see this and think of how perfectly it would have worked in my nursery had I not just had my parents order a similar crib for $399 and without a bookcase. :-\

I just found the econappi diaper the other day, and I am interested in trying it because it is a pocket diaper with an organic inner. I have Fuzzi Bunz and bumGenius, and the synthetic fabric inners like microfleece and microsuede have a tendency to get buildup and then they repel moisture, which gets to be a real problem. I also have had experience with synthetic fabrics creating a very harsh ammonia smell when they become wet with urine.

My favorite cloth diapers are Goodmama fitteds from http://www.thegoodmama.com. They are made of Organic Bamboo Velour and Hemp, are extremely absorbent, wash clean and dry quickly, and are also one-size-fits-all. They are fitted diapers and so they do need a cover, but we use wool covers, so we're looking at all natural fibers all around here in our house.

It would look cute if it was a little bit distressed/antiqued and paired with some vintage linens and quilts.
