The room and board Parsons table with the natural steel base and perhaps a lighter top like the reclaimed chestnut? I always use the Pentagram designed one in the large size at my office, but they also have it in a smaller size: http://www.kenknightdesign.com/365tyca20la21.html There's lots of white space for writing around the numbers and the typography and clean design is great. I particularly like numbers 1, 3 and 4 above - beautiful solutions to a common problem! I just moved in to a place that has one pink and blue bathroom and one grey and blue. I'm trying to figure out what to do with the grey one first. So far, I've just painted it white and hung a shower curtain from Crate & Barrel. I have a Russell Hobbs electric kettle that is similar to this: http://www.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=258182&PartnerID=FROOGLE&BannerID=PD677 I love it. The heating element is in the base of the kettle, separate from the water, so there's no residue build up. Very fast and easy to clean and it turns off automatically, so you don't have to worry about forgetting that your water is boiling on the stove. Thanks everyone (and yes, the living room could use some de-cluttering!) The dining room chairs I got at a flea market a few years ago and recovered the seats. They actually fold up, which I love. I use Envirosax and love the various graphic options they have. (They also sell them in pouches of 4 at a time as an option.) I find the length of the straps to be just right for putting over your shoulder, but still short enough to hold multiple bags with your arms at your side. Wow! I absolutely love Le Creuset pots and that square skillet would be fantastic for so many things, but the Dutch oven is the winner for me. Stews, roasts, soups...perfect for winter cooking!
