A matched pair of Adrian Pearsall lounge chairs for $130 (ebay). The exact pair came up on 1st dibs for -- ta dah! -- $6,000! And four Donghia Anziano chairs for $300 (craigslist) from a NYC architect who was closing his office. These match my Wonk boris table ($250, craigslist) perfectly.

It's Adrianne Pearsall. He started Craft Associates and many of his designs were influenced by Kagan. He's starting to get some attention. Two of his chairs were on sale at ABC Carpet for $6K (I got the same ones for $130 (the pair), from ebay about 10 years ago so this makes me very happy).

For a laugh, please feature Jill's renovated apartment on Real Housewives of NYC. In a recent episode, Betheny said that if she were to spend a weekend alone in the apartment, she would feel as if she had taken a hit of acid. (The show is my guilty pleasure - it's on during my husband's teaching night; I do the laundry and watch it while I'm folding.)

I have a David Weeks two-arm lamp that I got at his sample sale a few weeks ago. I love the lamp but can't decide if I like the way it looks where it is. I hung a small abstract painting right (a gift from a friend) under it but now think I should have a headboard both to hide the power cord and to give it a more finished look.

I lived until recently on the top floor of a 6th floor walkup - 80 steps. Sometimes I would get so absorbed in my thoughts while walking up that I continue past my apartment to the entrance to the roof (always locked). Other times, I cursed every flight. If I left without an umbrella on a rainy day, I got a new one rather than go back. Now I'm on the 2nd floor in an elevator building and I love it!

I would stay away from the mini-prep because it doesn't have a feed tube. I have the smallest Cuisinart with a feed tube and it's been fine. Once in a while I wish I had a larger capacity model but I have limited counter space so I make do.
