Such a lovely, happy home! I love your mix of furniture styles and your use of color, especially the bedroom wall color. You get nice natural light, too!

Such an inviting space. You've really made it a home. I love the Buffalo Gals piece over the dining table and the bed linens. You have an eye for color.

I have joined and quit FlyLady a few times. (She's also a fly fishing enthusiast, hence the fly imagery.)

I adopted several of her strategies that I always use, the main one being to set a timer.

I make a list of what I want to do and assign a certain number of minutes to each item on the list, then I set the timer and sweep or unload the dishwasher or fold a load of clothes. It keeps me on track and reminds me that cleaning doesn't take as long as I think it will while I'm dreading getting started.

My friends ordered and shipped a new air mattress and set of sheets to our home as our host gift. We used it with their family and all families who have visited since, several years later.

My kitchen has tile counters with a subway tile backsplash in all white. We chose Delorean Gray grout. It's dark enough to hide stains and give the tile dimension but not so dark that it screams "GROUT!" We did the kitchen 7 years ago and it still looks great - and we're heavy consumers (and spillers) of coffee and red wine.
