Hi Sallie,
Thanks SO much! The lanterns are so much fun and my daughter loves looking at them. All I did was hammer tiny hooks into the ceiling. Then I used fishing line to hang them from the hook to the lantern. So far, they've been pretty secure even when the kids try to swat at them! Good luck and thanks again!
