Bellisimo! I would have this color combo but alas can not pull it off in my home. You get my vote! I am hoping you will tell me where you got the sofa in your living room? It is exactly what I have been hunting for here in Chicago. Good luck! Hope you win! Bryan's "Navy & Camel" Room |

I think this home is beautiful, interesting and fun. However, as some one who works in Architecture in the States and has to explain to designers over and over again, that you can not fly materials half way across the world and claim LEED certification status. This post just ticks me off. Also the tone is so very...this guy is a total bore. I am so glad he lives in Romania -which means I never have to have him as a client. Yay, I win. Oy! First Apartments! Start small, and stay small. Make sure you document each change with before and after photos. I think you are smart to question how far you should go. I would alter the palette & mood of your place with color and lighting. Keep the fixtures as they are if you can live with them. Give yourself a year in the new place and keep raising the bar each year after that. I am giving this advice as a person who lost her security deposit on her new place because I went to far with my remodel. If you switch out any fixture make sure you save as original condition or you might be charged through the nose. Other than that Enjoy your new apt!
