@jcudesigns: not all wine is meant to be aged, and even if a wine CAN be aged (again, not all wine CAN be aged, some actually get worse with time, and no, this doesn't mean it's a bad quality wine), it doesn't mean you can't drink it before that time. It really does depend on the wine, please don't generalize.

This is certainly a creative home, no doubt about it. If I fell into Alice in Wonderland's rabbit hole, this is where I would land, and if I was under 10 years old, I would absolutely love it. However, when the daughters are teenagers, I sense they might become embarrassed with their home and won't want to have friends over.

I have to say, I don't care that displaying the flag in whatever way is disrespectful, I just think it's tacky.

Mia, I was wondering, where did you get that Joan Miro poster? I've been looking for one just like it.

I like the room but the color palette is misleading. I think your color palette should be light gray, light blue, and red, those are really the main colors.

I love the simplicity of this room. The rug brings the space together. And who says white isn't a color?

I think she looks photoshopped too. It's really distracting. Also, I'm not a fan of the turquoise with orange combination, THAT seems matchy matchy and rather predictable. I do like the rug and the artwork.

I like the bench, but initially I thought you would just remove the two end chairs. They are really big and feel out of proportion with the rest of the space (even in the after picture). I suppose maybe you do need the extra chairs, but maybe you could replace them with the other two chairs that you removed.

Wow, what's up with the Mac from 2002? I have to say that really threw me off a bit, and for a second I questioned how old this house tour was. But lovely lovely home! Very relaxing and warm.

I love the dining room area, but the living room just reminds me too much of a grandparent's house (you know, with a life's worth of stuff and furniture that hasn't been updated in ages).

I absolutely love this kitchen! But one question. Is the first photo a 3d render? Because in the first picture it seems as if the dishwasher is integrated into the design, but on the second and fourth picture you can clearly see that the dishwasher is stainless steel and not integrated.
