Why do people put their beds in front of the window?
Least functional place to sleep. City noise. Early morning light.
And she painted the wood built ins. HUGE nono.

CL has furnished my apt, allowed me to declutter my apartment, found labor to move, found employment, found employees, found cars, and found some activities with people that are best left unmentioned on such a civilized forum as this.
Just ignore the spammers and cheapskates, all is good.

No chimney, so you'll have to carry this through the front door.
Thnx.

That's a great use of space and nice finishes, but I immediately notice the radiator which must have been inside the sink cabinet before the redo. That's weird.

I like terraria.
It helps to have a strong sense of self, to be able to like something without having to have others like it in order to not feel too outside, while not following what others say.

My guest room has plenty of storage, a private bath, and room service.
It's called a hotel.

Having been a bartender and waiter, I've seen every type of customer.
The worst tippers are the "biggest spenders". The ones that make a production out of mispronouncing the names of the liquors they order, loudly. The ones that drop the name or the owner or manager. The ones that must be total assholes to work for/with because they expect to be well paid because their time is valuable and they;re worth it, but when they're out on the town expecting top notch service and products, they feel cheated by the prices in the trendy establishment so they stiff the guy (or gal) that keeps up with the latest drink recipes and makes their evening enjoyable.
As others have said, if the $12 cocktail is too much of a stretch for your budget and you can't drop another $2 for a tip, there's a beer-and-a-shot corner bar where you can get something out of a plastic bottle in a one ounce shot glass and a draught in a 12 ounce glass that will keep you in ramen for the rest of the week.

I thought the fold-down wall-bed was the go to answer for life in a studio. Get a queen size, with attached storage closets and drawers along one wall. Still have room for a sofa.

I know this is a movie set, and not a real loft space, but I notice the fixed windows which seem to be pooping up in a lot of residential buildings these days. Why? Don't people want to let the fresh air in, at least occasionally? In these "green" times, relying on climate control 24/7/365 seems so 20th Century.
I open the windows at every opportunity.

I love reading doofus ideas like this, cause I'll be able to make so much money in the future selling this stuff back.
3D is already dead.
There are myriad movies and old series available ONLY on vhs tapes via ebay and thrift stores.
AM/FM is still free music available anywhere there's air.
I've got a collection of 78s and a few 16s that I can't play until I find the right vintage turntable, hopefully something from the Art Deco era.
