What makes these rooms "masculine" is the lack of pattern and color choice. Not the headboard. I agree with patrick when he says the use of words like masculine and feminine are somewhat outdated. My hubby loved our toile wallpapered bedroom - we moved and he wanted it recreated! Masculine Headboards Inside Man | Apartment Therapy New York |

Love the mixed materials - it is something that any homeowner can do to an existing builder grade home to give it character. The batten board siding mixed with clapboard siding is wonderful... it creates a sence of additions over time as the home jogs in and out. That white paint simply beckens for a flag or bunting for the 4th! Moving into a New House: Our Inspiration | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

At our Good Earth Home, Garden & Living Show we have asked the local food bank for huge industrial sized tomato sauce cans for table arrangements. They give us cases of these red beautys to use in the cafe. We save all packing peanuts for filler (perfect for event lightweight plantings) and pull hens & chicks out of our office garden for zero waste arrangements! We always return the styro peanuts back into our garden shed for the next show too! Upcycled Planter and Container Inspiration Roundup | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |
