Holy cow that is amazing! my son's favorite app on the iPad is "Drawing Pad" , it's got a simpler set of tools - but now I'm interested in trying the brushes app out. Can't wait to show my son this video - thanks for the inspiration!

Really appreciate this list - we are on the hunt for meaningful apps for our kid too. It's great that there are so many classic games like tangrams can be captured on the iPad - and some really great ones that are free.

We started a site to try to list the apps that have been meaningful from a learning/development standpoint for our kid - http://apps4ikids.com - with a heavy belief that there needs to be balance, but used well - pretty excited to see the potential of the iPad as well as the other iOS devices.
