Another Canadian here. Yeah, everyone takes their shoes off. Wearing them in the house would seem crazy to me.

I too video blogged all of my travels through Africa and Europe.

Sometimes you feel like an idiot talking to a camera but it is totally worth it in the end.

Just make sure you edit the video down! No one wants to watch hours of shaky video. Keep the boring footage for yourself, just post the interesting bits. I have trouble with that sometimes.
