My home is currently for sale and I definitely play music. My home is on 16 acres in the country with an in-ground pool, patio, pergola, beautifully landscaped and I play music on the outside speakers. I'm selling not only a home but a lifestyle and only certain people are looking for this type of home and I think the music can only help. I play the Sirius Coffeehouse station.

During the 60s, my father, through his work, became friends with folk artist Edgar Tolson. I remember as a child looking/playing with a carving of an ox and its wagon that Mr. Tolson gave my father. It fell apart at some point and my father threw it away! It would most likely sale for $7000-$10,000 now.

Removable wall decals!! There are some fabulous ones of trees, birds, etc. You can find them on Etsy and other online sources and they look great and work well even for renters.

Oh, and in case I get comments/questions about my bad Etsy transaction, I paid the Seller and she received payment before she decided to renege and refund my money. It's funny that my negative comment left for her that only detailed what transpired has since been removed.

Tried Etsy one time and the seller (annmillerpaints) reneged on the sale because she didn't realize she priced her painting so low! And Etsy didn't make her complete the transaction!! Somehow we give more credibility because everything is "hand made" but I've never had this problem with ebay so I don't buy from Etsy.

@cm - I don't believe it is turn of the century decorative molding because you can still see drywaller "artistry" in 1970 and 1980 homes who wanted a little extra flair instead of cottage cheese ceilings. Also, she doesn't say it's an old house. Check out Lowe's and Home Depot and you can still buy the drywall brushes that create this using drywall mud. Very time-consuming and messy to remove yourself so I would hire a professional to smooth out your ceilings.

Miss negativity is more like it. Making a post to call something creepy and to speak of eating flesh apparently is not judgmental and is somehow appropriate for Halloween, don't you think MissBrown2You?

OMG I covet the deer head. My ex-husband took the one from my wall when he left and I've been trying to find a reasonable one at a pawn shop to purchase (since I could never shoot, dress or butcher a deer). Yes, santimonious posters there are people in the world who like to hunt, eat deer meat and are proud to display the trophy head versus throwing it in a landfill or doing what some irresponsible hunters in my area do - throw it in the woods where my Labrador Retriever finds it and brings it's body parts back to my yard where I have to throw it in the landfill.

It's a big diverse world out here people and you need to grow up. I'm sure I wouldn't like your Birkenstocks sitting by the hearth either. BTW - the deer's pose looks just like a buck sticking his nose out to get a whiff of a doe.

bepsf - Really!!?? It must be very time-consuming to spend all of that time researching companies to ascertain some indirect political viewpoint. Reminds me of one of my redneck uncles who wouldn't drink a certain brand of beer because the company was a sponsor of the Gay Olympics - dude, it's just beer. Ah, if only life were easy and we could all be the same and hold the same beliefs- not! :)
