Damn, I wish I had grabbed those multi-color stacking mugs when I had the chance...the Cost Plus near me closed!

I did manage to buy some foldable wooden chairs and some awesome purple plates from there though, oh and my favorite lucky cat bank!

Cobb salads with bleu cheese dressing
Avocado and cream cheese sushi rolls
Slow Cooked Pot Roast or Brisket and Gravy
Sweetwater Blue Beer

I hate to admit it, but I love McDonalds Iced Mochas. I don't eat there, but their coffee drinks are amazing, and I'm a coffee snob! I have awesome independent coffee shops around me all the time, but sometimes nothing hits the spot like those darn good iced mochas.

I had a thing for sweet and salty combinations, so I loved to make ice cream sundaes with hot fudge sauce, walnuts, and sea salt! Seriously, try adding a pinch of sea salt to your ice cream and you'll see what I mean!

Have you heard of this vegetarian phenomena called Bacon Mayonnaise? It's at some grocery stores, and it is hella good!

I call mine Big MoFo Pockets, instead of bread I use whole wheat pita pockets, spread the insides with roasted red pepper hummus, guacamole, and then I stuff it with spring lettuce, sliced cucumber, sliced white mushrooms, sliced red or green bell pepper, sliced kalamata olives, a sprinkle of cheese (usually goat cheese or farm cheese), and a topping of fresh mild salsa, and sometimes cilantro.

These are so good and messy, my husband loves them and doesn't usually like "healthy" food.

I like the bamboo and steel containers. Lunch boxes with compartments are fun and give me a chance to make bento lunches! I've started eating clean and have a cooler now with me everywhere instead of my bento box and bag, but I still love to cram some bento in whenever I can :)

first off, you need to figure out your decorating style.

Modern? Eclectic? Retro? Traditional? French?

When you figure out what your interior style is (mine is a combo of Retro, Eclectic Mod), you can start with a color scheme and get to painting the wall and maybe trim.

I suggest shopping at flea markets and antique stores for unique one-of-a-kind items that will make your room impressive.

Think a large area rug, canvas art, vintage vases and glass items, large colorful pillows, drapes for the windows, and some mood lighting.

You should start researching color schemes and style tastes in books and on the internet.

But whatever you do, please...please go shopping at antique stores and flea markets. Not only do you get unique items, but you have the chance to be environmentally friendly! Re-use, Reduce and Recycle :)

Lol...I grew up in a haunted house. Sometimes it was fun, other times scary, but mainly just weird.
It didn't help either that I just had to move my bedroom to the basement when I became a teenager, so I could have complete privacy. I heard more noises and sounds down there than I did upstairs.

I didn't like being home alone, since I had a terrifying experience while my parents were at church. I heard someone walking up the basement stairs into the hall! Those stairs made loud creaks in such a way that you could hear anyone coming upstairs from down the hall. The footsteps were heavy, I immediately thought burglar. I pushed a table in front of the door in panic and grabbed the phone and a knife. There I stood outside for 20 min. waiting on the cops to arrive, with a knife in my hand! Long story short, they searched the house, no person, no signs of forced entry, no nothing. They all thought I went crazy! My parents knew that I heard something, and they kept the basement door closed from then on.

Sometimes I heard footsteps upstairs when no one was home, other times I would leave my room and come back to my books and cds all strewn across the floor. My closet door had a way of always being open, no matter how many times I made sure it was closed. My stuff would go missing at times, and later I would find them in a weird corner in the basement, or in the bathroom drawer upstairs. I found etchings in my closet, and would come home from school some days to find my tv turned on and my bed messed up.

So I definitely believe in haunted houses, I haven't lived in one since, thank god, and I don't think I'll ever want to.
