Thanks so much for posting my Boot Tray!
We've used the pebble boot tray through two wintery seasons now, I don't step in a lot of mud, we're in Vancouver so rain is our most common problem. The pebbles dry out really fast! I've put soaking wet boots and shoes on there and had no problems. I've never had a probelm with mildew or any funky smells. At the end of last season I took the rocks out gave them a rinse in a strainer and put them back. But I don't have a cat so i'm not sure about the pooping in it thing :)
One of our readers used the pebbles with the mesh backing so her kids couldn't steal all the rocks out:) She said it worked great!

Thanks so much Beth, for showing some storage solutions from our Manor. Our Ikea store has this shelf in their entrance and bathroom section, But people are right It is the Gruntdal Shelf (my fault), but it is sold as bathroom shelving. It works famously for a pot rack though.
The chrome baskets are something everyone always wants to know where I sourced them from, the good news is they were $6.99 each, the bad news is they are from The Real Canadian Superstore, only in Canada. Although I think they also do business under the name LOBLAWS.

Thanks so much for posting my computer/craft room!
To answer the question we do use it as a computer room, we both have laptops, I have a mini laptop pictured above and my husband has a regular one. The telephone is cordless but I mostly use my blackberry for work. The printer and files are kept in the corner cupboard beside the chair (it's an HP laser jet so it's pretty big but fits nicely in the corner). While it looks more like a craft room we actually use it as an office more often then not!
