We have diaper bags for each kid, plus one for when they're all together. We've always carried diaper bags -- both of us! -- because any time we haven't, we've ended up needing that extra change of clothes, sunscreen, coloring book ... what have you. But it does sound like the saner option is just leaving all that stuff in your car! Do Men Really Use Diaper Bags? Survey |

We have a Dutalier completely upholstered chair -- armchair style, like the photos above. We manage to have story time in it every night with a 3 yo and a 1 yo. The real question is: will I be able to nurse my twins (due Feb) in it comfortably? ... I guess I'll find out ;) Personal Reviews for Either of these Gliders? Good Questions |

Ultrasuede. Love it. Has survived cats, dog, kids -- even permanent marker came right off with the help of hairspray. Can't say enough about how much I love it. Microfiber Upholstery Pros & Cons Reader Intelligence Report |

Love the room. One piece of practical advice: you probably want to put the hamper next to the changing table ... you are going to be doing a lot of RIDICULOUSLY messy clothes-changing, and tossing that stuff across the room can be a little difficult when you're trying to keep your young gymnast from catapulting off the table. Congrats, and all best! My Room: Ruby Greenville, SC |

We have a similar problem -- gorgeous exposed concrete walls in the kids' rooms that I am loath to drill into and destroy. My solution, until the kids are past the climbing stage, is LOW, LIGHT furniture (Ikea Trofast sorts of stuff), bottom loading all of it with the heavy stuff, and going for child-proofing the drawers in the dressers to keep them from being opened and used as stairs by little ones ... Fingers crossed! (And if it's any comfort, I obsess over this stuff ... was even considering covering the entire back of our regretfully heavy changing table with 3M velcro tape, and adhering it to the concrete like that ... silly Mama!)
