Lisa @bitesforbabies yes i buy mine at whole foods. they are right with the regular noodles and come in several different pasta forms. i can say from experience they are very easy to over cook so they need a little more minding when cooking, other then that me and my bf are hooked on them!!!! I am in love with quinoa noodles! Use those with store bought sauce (or make you're own) and you have a hearty meal. Can You Suggest Some Gluten-Free One-Dish Meals? Good Questions |

wow *Carolyn'sKitchen* doesn't live in a big city or have a very diverse group of friends. yes, i am vegan, and would never fuss (i pre-eat often) but my friends range from other vegans, just vegetarians, meat lovers, celiacs... we have the most interesting dinner parties where there is something for each person to enjoy and no one complains or leaves hungry. keep practicing! when i was 21 me and my then bf moved haphazardly to nyc. being flat broke, no jobs, and nothing with us more than a suitcase full of clothes each when we finally did get our own place we couldn't afford silverware (or much else) so we went to china town and bought a 250 count pack of chopsticks and used them for EVERY SINGLE meal. stick with your purchase. i purchased a west elm bed last summer and the first one they sent me wouldn't go together, the pre-drilled holes wern't lined up and nothing me or my father (i had to call in the big guns on this one) did would make work. so i had to send it back and they sent me a new one with the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. it arrived the night before i was going in for foot surgery so i went to homedepot and bought long screws and FORCED it to work. not the prettiest $500 purchase i've ever made. if it wasn't for surgery i would have sent it back. i will NEVER buy from west elm ever again. i was in the same boat not long ago. the guy i was seeing LOVED burritos so i made what was named a *burrito cake*. i layed out (oh yah, he was also vegan) burrito shells and layered it with typical burrito filling. one layer of rice, [shell] beans, [shell] veggies, [shell] salsa... (get creative with the filling to what you guys like/eat) then on the top of the last burrito shell i wrote "happy birthday" in guacamole. it was a huge hit!!!
