My DH left his brand new iPhone at a restaurant that we frequented often and only realized it once we got home. Called the restaurant and talked to the manager who told us that it wasn't there. So my DH called the phone no answer but with the Find my iPhone app we could watch it going down the freeway and stopping at a home miles away. We texted it with their address and that we had contacted the police. Surprisingly we got a call the next day from the same manager telling us that it had been in the office all a long and that we could come and pick it up.

I did this for my running iPod and it was perfect! Not only do they not tangle they also fall better when I use them. Also so much easier to find in my purse.

When I graduated High School my mother gave me the best present of a note book full of her handwritten recipes that were a staple in our family. The pages are full of splatters and the cover has seen better times but it is always there for when I'm feeling home sick.

My family has a large collection of clay bakers that get used for so many things. The one major use though is for garlic roast chicken. Easy enough, it is 3 heads of garlic, a couple of onions and 2 smaller chickens that have the garlic cloves shoved literally everywhere and then slow roasted. The garlic is creamy and the chicken is super moist. I only use my clay baker for roasts of all kinds and even my turkeys.

Aloe either from my much abused plant or from the tube in the cupboard. But it cools the burn down and I usually don't scar.

I have a Lodge as well and i seem to find a new use for it everyday. Not only does it live on my stovetop, I put it in the oven to cook pizza's on and to bake bread on. I love the fact that it is reversible and solid.

So making these! Not kidding that I was just looking up how to make homemade tatter tots. I have now found my go to recipe. Thank you. Oh and may have to try it with sweet potatoes, just saying...

@sarahperegrina, having "living room" furniture is also fairly common on the east coast of Canada. While I was visiting my relatives on Prince Edward Island everyone had a sofa or a good comfy chair in the kitchen. That was were we gathered and it usually ended up in a kitchen party with loads of music and good food.
