I agree with Miami's Elaine. Wood of leather. Upholstered chairs would be a disastrous in my house, we cook and eat at home most nights. I like the natural look and feel of wood.

I just don't like the taste of soda anymore. I used to when I was younger, but for some reason my adult stomach can't handle it. I prefer water, with a little lemon or even sparkling water with a teaspoon or two of syrup.

Not my style, but i must say, the arrangement of your art is impeccable.

Recycled glass countertops: add water rings to the biggest offender list. Tip: find an organic, lemon-based cleaner and wipe the glass 1xper day with this.

Love this apartment! The touches of blue and pops of color in each room is so playful and fun! I love the open concept and all the light you have streaming into your living area. My only critique is the bedroom, it looks too crowded. The placement of the bed near the closet and the positioning of the dresser drawers is a bit too awkward for my taste, but if it works for you, kudos!

Tiny living is wonderful, however, this all seems a little prententious to me. Isn't the point of small living going back to the roots, being simplistic. For centuries, poorer familes throughout southern USA have lived in tiny shot gun houses. Often cultivating their own land and using furniture that's been handed down generation to generation or being creative and using everyday articles such as a crate as a table. It all seems pretty priveleged to sit in a 200 foot square house adorned with only the finest lamps and curtains, curated from Europe Asia ... maybe it's just me, but this is nothing revolutionary-- it's just me, but just because some upper middle class well-to-do individuals, decide to leave their oversized condo, townhouse, etc., does not really deserve newsworthy attention. Why don't we show those who live and pioneered this way of living, we (including myself) could all learn a little about simplicity and humility form them.

Triple ditto Aaliyah, it's a rental! Hang some cute postcards, throw in some plants and put down a rug in the pantry to offset the large tile.

If a person doesn't like art or doesn't care to hang it, why bother-- that's so contrived. They could have placed some nice decorative vases or ornaments on the crown molding/shelf. Painted the walls a nice airy color like sage (keeping the molding white). Finally, simply added framed family photos, which would be a lot more personal for a person who obviously lacked art on the wall in the first place.

Fun and interesting topic, but in the end names are names and they're not what make us unique. There are over 6 billion people in the world-- who cares if a name is common or not.

Nice hotel. The only features of this apartment I enjoyed are the cute lamp on slide 15 and the bathroom.

The blue paint contrasts remarkably with the white bookcase. I love the placement of the plants on the bookcase too! I agree with Team Decor, the tv is a bit big for the bookcase. Perhaps you could cut the shelves a bit so it fits inside.

Charming, cozy, cute-- I love it! Your apartment looks so warm and lived in! I'm not crazy about the rugs in the entrance. I have one suggestion, in the bathroom you should consider hanging a little ledge under bathroom mirror, to place your decorations and tooth brush. This would clear up the clutter on your sink a little: http://www.move.com/home-garden/Images/Organ30Bath11_tcm12-4523.jpg.

Love the brightness and colorfulness of your apartment! The bathroom is very charming and I love your old suitcase! The walls are a bit institutional white and bare for my taste, but it looks great with all your decor and furniture!
