Quick funny story....we planted a tree for our son at his first birthday. We had a little very informal ceremony. My father-in-law was doing a funny, little tree chant and tree dance while my own dad was calling us all around to have a prayer of blessing. Anyway, we always look back on this and laugh at how different our families are:)
Just a side note, we left soon thereafter for vacation and the tree died in the drought. It was a pitiful feeling.

Wow! Laura, you and M, have an awesome blog! Keep up the amazing work! So much for cleaning out my gutters-- just re-use all that soil for some delicious Farmer's Market produce!
