We make these from time to time, we halve the amount of yeast we use in our cinnamon bun recipe and than just spread halva and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. It is actually really easy.

We actually were planning on making pumpkin flavored buns with swirls of spiced chocolate for the people who spend the night for our Halloween party but decided to keep it simple this year, pumpkin pancakes with chocolate chips.

Remove about 10-20% of any leavening agents out of the recipe. The surface area concentrates the heat into a smaller volume making any attempt to use the same amount prone to the batter coming over the sides and burning.

They work well, my grandma used to make cinnamon bread in hers. The trick to cutting slices is to put a few toothpicks on the side opposite your cutting motion.

My roommate used it once to cook a 2 foot long tube of bologna, I still don't think I've gotten all the smell out of the oven.
