I just made one of these using items I had on hand in about 15 minutes. LOVE IT. Spray painted the inside and cord silver and it looks fabulous. And P.S. we share the same first name! :)

I can watch The Golden Girls after a stressful day and something about the view of the house at night just starts to melt the day away. And Mary Richard's apartment was the perfect single gal spot. I live very near the home they used in the opening shots (Mary's apartment was on the second floor and Rhoda's was in the attic.) The house is no longer painted white, but you'd recognize the shape anywhere. I think of the MTM show as I blade around the same lake pictured in the opening credits.
