If it gets colder in the evenings, or if you like 'tea', I really like this quick-to-make brew : poor boiling water over a little sugar (optional) and add a little lemon juice / throw in a big slice of lemon. You can add some honey if you like.

I even planted a few lemon seeds this year to eventually (hopefully - wrong climate here) end up with my own lemons; this 'tea' uses up a lemon pretty fast especially if you drink some each day. If you don't have lemons I'd try it with the other citrus too..

I bake my own sourdough bread, and use a (dark, from IKEA) metal pan for that. Before I got the metal pan I used an enamel regular cooking pan (no wooden/plastic handles!) and that worked really well too.

It took me a while to figure out that if the dough is too thin/sticky or if it didn't rise for long enough, it will stick to the pan BADLY (read: you need a chisel to get the thing out, and it will be either a rocksolid paperweight, or a mess of broken off pieces..).

I really don't like the silicone pans, but my dad uses it for his bread. If you use silicone dough consistency doesn't matter too much.

I'm all for using 'little' salt, but going completely unsalted seems like a really bad idea - your body actually needs salt!

Stock / bouillon. I have always (since birth) hated soup because of this. Limits freezer meal options, but I just can't eat it. Trouble is that that that stuff is not only in soups and gravies, and I taste it through everything.

Eggplant is another big fail.

I really wish I liked avocado / guacamole . Every once in a while I try some, but so far I still don't like it (little bit of lemon juice mixed in does not help on bit)

You can also very quickly make buckwheat pancakes by just mixing the flour with a little water - nothing else is needed.
