Looks like someone has already taken a bite out of that fellow. Shouldn't he have four legs?

If Yoda was on that wallpaper, my wife would cover the whole house with it.

"Hey, maybe we can get together later this week, catch up, have some tea, and then maybe you can have a look at my computer... Oh yeah, and my daughters computer has been acting really weird too.""

Seriously, I love to help people, but I don't like being used. The computers above? Online all the time and no anti-virus! A basic check suggested 500+ infections. Yay.

I hear ya on the death metal, buddy. I have a selection of CD's by Nile, Suffocation, and Kronos in my iPhone that gets played frequently during intense workouts.

There are many articles about dealing with cables around. Most of them claim to speak of cable management and solutions, but most of them really only talk about hiding away the mess, which is neither management or solution, imo. It's not that difficult to just shove all the cables into a box or a cabinet, but when you need to remove or replace a cable, you're faced with a horribly tangled mess, and let's be honest, we *do* need to access the cables sometimes.

Is it possible to organize your collection of cables in an accessible manner and still have it look good? I've been trying, but I'm starting to seriously question it. Maybe the mess behind the desk is not due to laziness..? Prove me wrong, guys. :D

Oh, I love this and what a dramatic contrast to Gwyneth's home, that was shown here recently. ;)

"Now, on to the rough comments. Can you honestly say you would be upset if this was your home?!?!"

I would love the space, but there's not a chance I would let it look like that.

Horrible, obviously, but I guess that's the point. It's more about getting attention than anything else.

I received my copy last week (thanks, Amazon) and it really is very good. After reading only a few pages, I got some ideas about what I can do with my own small apartment, and it actually turned out very well. :D

Great book.

I like Gwyneth, but that particular room isn't for me, but then again I'm a man.

It feels lifeless and overdesigned to me. Pretty in a way, sure, but what do you do in a room like that? Throw in some personal details like books, toys, comics, games, Xbox, a dog, kids, color (for the love of Jebus, some color), and people in general, and I would like it a lot more.

Then pity the maid, who has to clean it. :)

I like them, but I'm not sure I'd want to put them on a door. I think I would prefer to have one at the back of a closet. You open the closet, move some clothes out of the way, and hey, there's a mysterious staircase here. Hmm...

A little less tacky, a little more magical, and very Narnia-esque. :D

I love all the books, because one of my two weird dreams is living in a library (the other one is living in a lighthouse), and I'm not a fan of the "throw everything out and live in a selfmade monastary" idea that is so common here on AT.

The Boxer is nice, but I was really hoping for a Scottish Terrier. I was also hoping for a less absurd price, because $185 is about twice as much of what I was prepared to pay.

I didn't think the "before" were bad at all, but yes, the new painted ones look so much better. I have dull white tiles in my kitchen that I want to get rid of, but it's really expensive to do so. This seems like an excellent solution. Thanks. :)

One more thing, slightly off-topic, but still. Is there any way you could link the pictures to more high quality ones? As things are, they're almost stamp-sized and it's difficult to make out the details, which kind of defeats the purpose.

I think all these gay slurs are rather embarrasing. Keeping things clean and organized means that you have good discipline. Being lazy and sloppy doesn't make you some kind of manly man, it just means that you're lazy and sloppy, and I don't think that's something to take pride in.

On the other hand, trying to turn weaknesses into virtues is something a lot of men do, so hey, maybe it is a manly thing after all.
