I remodeled my kitchen last fall too using IKEA cabinets and it looks better than my parents brand new home kitchen for half of the price! We did everything with the help of my family from removing a wall to tiling. Assembling and hanging the cabs is not a big deal. Like macbride, I found ikeafans.com really helpful, I've learned a lot there. Designing the kitchen was the most challenging part of this project, you have so many options but in the end I really have my dream kitchen. I bought my quartz countertop via IKEA but you probably can get a better deal if you buy it directly from the merchant. It is also a lot easier if you change something after. A pull-down multifunction sprayhead is a must have. Be sure that the button on the sprayhead arent too cheapo.
