we have the airswitch 1 style and use it as a bedside lamp; it looks quite nice in person. note that if you keep it in a corner or too near walls the dimming doesn't work quite right.

for more pictures & sources see at:chicago</A> post from last year. also available direct from mathmos</A>, from generate</A>, and from many other shops.

The biggest downside to a teak mat in a small space is how tall it is. If you use a standard teak mat the full 11" you would have to halfway step on it to use the toilet, and the height difference would be noticeable.

I was thinking of using a placemat in my bathroom like Amy suggested, but was worried it wouldn't hold up. The link she posted to the mat is good, it just has an extra period at the end. If you wanted to go that route there are also these:

wood placemat at Crate & Barrel

bamboo placemat at Pier1

If you're worried about the rug pad showing through, you could also glue a few little rubber feet to the underside instead.

Jane-
Most stainless steel is non-magnetic, so the fact that your door is non-magnetic basically confirms it is stainless. I'm guessing the reason it looks "softer" is that it might has some type of coating on it to resist scratches and fingerprints. It could also be a coating that made Liesl call the look of it "mouse gray."

I've been noticing that a lot of people have been picking the same songs, so I'm going to dig deep into my collection. It's a reggae song from 1968 from a band out of, where else, Jamaica

It's called "Ding Dong Bell" by The Ethiopians

And it's the perfect song to warm you up on a cold December night. Oh, and I'd love to hear it on the white one.
