as someone who did this last year to four windows in my living room, i can say, save yourself the trouble and go a different route. they end up with quite a lot of wrinkles (if you are using them both open and closed) and pulling strangely and not hanging quite straight if you don't cut & sew perfect lines (i took the sans vinyl route). i thought they were genius for about a week and have been considering new treatments ever since. i also used a fairly obnoxious pattern, which i thought would be fine at the time. something plain jane may have been better. or something totally different. how about those diy roman blinds where you fix fabric to a deconstructed mini-blind? they fit inside a window frame and would look better i think--as long as you cover the hardware in the same manner as others have suggested.

this was so good. really. loved it. the recipe is so easy to follow, i can't believe how perfect it all came out!

this looks so wonderful and hearty. can't wait for a bit of a chill in the air so i can make this. with rosemary. mm.

put it over cheese grits along with some kind of green.

on a grilled cheese.

on a pizza with barbecue sauce, mozzarella & provolone, thinly sliced onion and pickles. then hit it with a squeeze of lime and fresh cilantro after baking.

basically my dream garden. love.

ooh boy. yes shiny, yes would clean fingerprints and specks of dust daily, will take for walks, feed and love. too bad i just bought a new toaster last week.

is that an australian cattle dog? i have two of those buggers and they go nuts in my 4xthesizeofyour apartment. i wish i could stand the thought of parting with them cause they would love a farm. as long as it had squirrels.
