I also made rhubarb vodka this year, and with it invented the superfantastic cocktail that has since been named the "Crowd Scene":

1 oz rhubarb vodka
1 oz St. Germain elderflower liqueur
2 tbsp fresh-squeezed meyer lemon juice
1 dash bitters

Shake with ice, strain into a tall glass, fill with sparkling water.

Late to the discussion, but a Chemex is perfect for this - make as much or as little coffee as you need daily, and if you're not a daily coffee drinker, use it as a water pitcher or carafe when it's not in use as a coffee maker. Also, it allows you to stir the grounds as you're brewing, which releases the oils, making extra tasty coffee.

I use a Kleen Kanteen for iced coffee. Super lightweight and much more portable in a bag than a to go cup. A quick rinse and it's ready to go again. http://www.kleankanteen.com/

As someone said above, this is one-of-a-kind art furniture. It's not a production piece, and Skott's work has been shown in high-end galleries (one review: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2004/11/10/HOG619OP121.DTL&hw=bay area furniture art 2004&sn=001&sc=1000) and museum shows. If the piece were to go into production, you'd gain economies of scale (such as the cost of the custom jigs to produce the bent ply, and it would probably sell for significantly less.

You can also microwave steel cut oats pretty easily. For a nice change from the sweet treatment, add blue cheese (or whatever sort of cheese you like) and veggies for a savory oatmeal.
