I love homes like this, even if it's not my style. I love to see how real people live. If I want to look at perfect style, I'll look at Elle Decor. This is just so cool and I loved her narrative about collecting. It means something to her!

Love the Anthropologie towel curtains. I did that in my kitchen, too, although I like how you did them better. Great inexpensive solution to kitchen blinds!

This is one cozy place, and I like that it is monochromatic with touches of interest. It's calming without being boring. I like Scout, too (and I too can't afford it either) but you don't need Scout. You've done a fabulous job here! Viva la Andersonville!

My sister has 5 hens in her back lot in Santa Barbara. Beautiful pastel-colored eggs every morning and they make the most mellow clucky sounds. Haven't noticed a smell but they are in the open air and have a egg-laying shelter. I'd love to raise them if I ever have more outdoor space.
