I have the same mill and have had it for about five years now. Still works great, and I'm very happy with it. I use it all the time. Product Review: OXO Food MillReader Review |

I am completely with you! We have a few traditional Thanksgiving dishes that cannot be messed with. In fact, my first Thanksgiving with my husbands family, they humored me and let me make my mom's sage and pork sausage stuffing. It wouldn't have been Thanksgiving without it! The other dish that cannot be messed with is my grandpa's cranberry relish. He's been passed and gone for many years, but we still enjoy his recipes at our Thanksgiving table. :) Family Recipe: My Dad's Legendary Pumpkin Chiffon Pie |

I made a lamp for an art project in High School, and (with my dad's guidance) wired it with one of the in cord rotating switches you're taking about. So it's possible to do it yourself with some parts from the hardware store. My Offi lamp I bought about 2 years ago came with a toggle switch instead of a rotating switch. I wonder if they had a lot of problems with those and changed it? Can This Offi Lamp Be Repaired? Good Questions |

I love laminated cotton! I used some to make a changing pad cover (it's actually a print pictured, the pink/yellow/green alphabet print on the far right), and I've also used some to make a purse. Excellent, durable stuff! It can be hard to find locally, but there's lots of cute prints available for sale on etsy and other online shops. Make Your Kitchen Kid-Friendly with Laminated Cotton |

I have an Oxo food mill that I love. We use it for mashed potatoes, baby food, and to puree berries b/c it helps strain out most of the seeds in the process. Should I Buy a Food Mill? |

I've never eaten the peppers themselves, but we always use the vinegar as a condiment on black-eyed peas. I got it from my Dad who's from Arkansas. I think it's a southern thing, but I love it. What Can I Do With a Case of Hot Pickled Peppers? Good Questions |

We installed a medium dark "hardwood" laminate in our downstairs. We we were concerned that it would make the area too dark (we live in a town house, so don't have many windows or natural light). We were suprised to find after we installed that the downstairs was almost brighter, because the lamite reflected the light we did have so much better. Should I Install Dark Hardwood Floors? I'm interested to see the answers as I'm thinking of stenciling as well. My concern is will it look crisp and clean if I do a white stencil over a dark blue wall (just like in the video actually, but it's so low res it's hard to say). Or will I wish I could do a 2nd/3rd coat of white? Because that could take about a million years! Wall Stenciling: DIY Do or Don't? Share Your Experience! |

I love using grapefruit spoons in the kitchen! It's great for peeling fresh ginger, and it's the best strawberry huller you'll ever use. It's also perfect for getting kiwi out of it's fuzzy skin. Oh yeah, and you can eat grapefruit with it! Making Multitaskers of Unitaskers: Share Your Stories! |

We LOVED our Puj, and our daughter didn't out-grow hers until she was 6 months (though she was on the small side). After that we just bathed her in the bath tub. Space-Saving Bath Tubs Good Questions |

mckate's suggestion seems good at first, but I did that once to visit my parents in the Canary Islands (used a major carrier to get me to Madrid, then used a Spanish carrier to get me to the islands). Only problem was we ended up with a four hour delay on one of the lay overs, and because the tickets weren't connected, the Spanish carrier would do nothing for me when I missed my connection. We ended up having to buy one way first class tickets for me and my husband (not cheap!).
