I'd like to be different but I've got to go with the pack here. The pieces themselves are fantastic. The shape, the hardwood definitely worth salvaging. Also, if you reupholster you'll have not just a custom piece but a one of a kind. For a change, try a single cushion a different back fabric. Lighten or darken the wood finish. Your options are many, so I say "keep at least the sofa."

Let it go. Life is too short to hold onto things you don't love.
Especially. when you use them every day I lived without a sofa for almost a year and guess what the world didn't end.

You'll see a piece that sucks the breath from your body, makes your gut clench and that you keep thinking about. That's the piece. Selling that, perfect for someone else, sofa only gets you there quicker.

But first, figure out how it makes it out your door, then make a buck, put the money away. You are gonna need it when you find the "right" sofa.

It has been 18 months and I still smile when I come down the hall and see mine.
