Amen & amen to all the comments! This is ME and here I've been all this time, thinking I'm the only lazy DIY-er with a neverending (and ever expanding) list of projects I'd someday like to do. What I've come to realize with myself is that the more I take the time (even if it's only an hour in the morning during naps!) to sit down and do the projects I want to do, the more the ideas and motivation comes.

Oh my goodness, thank you SO MUCH for such a great response!! I am overwhelmed by all the awesome ideas you guys have. I'll be taking note of everything and hopefully our flight will go smoothly! My husband will be traveling with me, so that's a good thing. You all have given me newfound confidence that I can do this. Thanks, again!!

I never understood the tin foil/double-sided tape thing for furniture. You may not have a torn up couch but you do have a couch covered in foil or tape...doesn't look good either. Do the cats just learn to stay away from it and eventually it can be removed?
