Something from a package, almost always. Pudding, brownies from a boxed mix, cake from a boxed mix with canned frosting, and a wide variety of cookies like Nutter Butters, E.L. Fudge, Chips Ahoy, you name it. The exception was at Christmas time when my mom would make homemade applesauce cake and a few kinds of cookies. This probably explains why, even though I make every other dessert homemade, it only tastes like "birthday cake" to me if it's a yellow cake from a box mix with chocolate canned frosting and rainbow sprinkles. Since this calls for both 1/4 c. Greek yogurt (which I don't have on hand) and 1/4 c. milk, which is presumably there to thin the Greek yogurt, could I safely use 1/2 c. of plain "regular" yogurt (which I do have on hand)? MissFifi, I totally agree with you about the clothing. I have an almost three year old girl, and even at this age it's so hard to find clothes that I don't think look trashy.
