I'm going to empty out and tidy the entryway coat closet. There are coats that are now too small for my son, and coats that we no longer wear, and probably even some formalwear in coat bags that should be relocated. I'm sick of having nowhere to hang our company's coats when there is a closet right there!

What about some oversized word art or some recycled vintage signage? Could showcase great up there and would complement the style of your barstools. Check out three potato four's stock or some such...

So well done - it's so inspirational to find people who can develop their style on a tight budget. Makes me feel like its still possible in this economy for your home to look fabulous. :-) Thanks for sharing!

I agree with some of the comments above - I think it would look great just with some new hardware- maybe some knobs that play off the black (and green?) and some great toiletry items on top of the cabinet. Easy and cheap with big impact!
