This posting is a bit dated, but I thought I would revive it with my experiences with the Spanna extension table. I bought this on sale at DWR which happens rarely so for the price you really can't beat it. I wasn't to keen on the glass table top so we opted for the all wood version which is slightly more expensive (i think). Matching chairs as the reviewer above me noted are also an excellent value and quality for the price. I give the chairs a thumbs up, the table, a thumbs sidedways. The finish on the table is a very sleek, matte finish. Its really beautiful, almost too beautiful! Go into a showroom and check it out if you are getting the all wood version. It scratches VERY easily. Moving a plate or glass across the surface is a no-no. So now, I must resort to a tablecloth or place mats which hides my beautiful new table. :(

I find that a cleaning with Murphys Oil will cover some of the fine scratches, but am now looking for an alternative that may be able to help a little better if possible.

I havent had any other problems with this table, including the rollers for the extension, although the showroom table did get stuck and needed three people to extend it! So I guess YMMV on that one.

Other than the scratching issue, I am very happy with this table and chair set.
