It's very common here in paris. I don't see any problems to be honest. Although it may not be the best idea to actually integrate it within the kitchen appliances.
In my kitchen, I have one wall with the sink, kitchen counters, and applicances. The other wall has various cabinets and the washing machine.
I follow a strict in and out policy though, as soon as the laundry is finished, I move the clothes away in a plastic basket to hang them elsewhere than the kitchen (I don't use a dryer) and I fold them in the living room before storage. I almost never manipulate washed clothes in the kitchen.

Probably very expensive, like everything from Cappellini.

Looks nice, but I couldn't live in a place with such a kitchen. I like to cook and this one really feels more like a closet than a kitchen.

agreed.This interior is more of a art deco revival than a 70s, except maybe the blue carpet.

Actually, no it wouldn't. Safety rules exists for a reason.

As for the sink, Junior learnt in the first few weeks how fun it was to push from the sides of the sink making the bath a precarious experience at best.

weird. In france, could be in europe too for all I know, we strip everything bare before we leave. There will be nothing left unless it's been agreed so between the former and the newer tenant (kitchen cabintes come to mind). I think it's just a matter of politeness, if you don't want all the crap you are leaving behind, do you expect the new tenant will cheerfully take care of all your junk? I don't think I left my precious low-energy light bulbs in my previous apartment! And I much prefer moving in a stripped clean apartment.

You should get rid of this armoire and custom build in this nook.

I have the same chairs, same colour and a cyclone dining table. I haven't put a rug under it.
With the budget, I would buy two more chairs because the table feel a little bit heavy when you compare it to the delicate structure of the eiffel base, and I feel something is a little out of proportions.

Has anyone tried this table with eames LCW? I have two and I'm still looking for a cofee table.
Thanks

I would put it against the straight wall too. The angled wall is in contact with the "outside" and thus will get colder and maybe feel more humid during winter.

the last desk is a Georges Nelson swag leg desk, and at $1,750 it better be nice...

yes, baby shit stinks. Just like ours. If you don't want to smell it, get rid of it. Use clothes diapers which you rinse right away in the toilet and in the sink. Wash your baby's butt in the sink, don't use disposable tissues.
In the very seldom cases I use disposable diapers, I throw them with the "regular" garbage and take it out after I'm done.

@elizabeth
Temperature in itself doesn't matter as much as temperature variations. It's better to have a space at 16 celsius all year round than a space which will fluctuate between 8 and 24 celcius.
Humidity, darkness, and the lack of chemical storage (paint) or vibrations (living near a railroad) are just about as important as a controled, low temperature.

@Matt
Yes, I guess so. Except it's under the building you are living in (you just need to take the staircase or the elevator to get there), it's included in the rent (or you buy an apartment with a cave) and the security is usually non existent (regular doors, no watch...etc). So, it's better not to leave valuable things in there, or use wine racks, as picking up bottles one by one is usually too long for thieves who prefer to take already packed cases lying around.
