oops- i meant Manhattanites. And I guess I wasn't disturb by the prices because like someone else said, it's no different from Manhattan prices. So it's just a look-see for now, that's still good. Apartment Therapy New York | Inaugural Brooklyn Flea Market 4.6.08 |

If you're Manhattanics, it's no big deal but for us in Fort Greene, it's great! Sure, there are plenty of antique stores in Brooklyn but it's about the convenience of having it in your neighborhood. Apartment Therapy New York | Inaugural Brooklyn Flea Market 4.6.08 |

I was completely in awe of it when I read the article on Cookie. The whole house that was featured was so original and inspiring. Instead of the perfectly framed photos and the pretty toys and decoration we ( as parents) usually create for ourselves - uhhumm, i mean our child - the owners made their son's nursery one that encourages a child's imagination. The drawings are naive and in a style only a child would understand. There are lots of white space for the child to add to the "mural" as he grows older. Look! Drawing on the Walls |

I bought them too - non light version - one for the nursery and one for the livingroom. We are going to buy a 3rd one for the bedroom and like you said, the hestitation is shape of the light. The one in the nursery has shorter blades than the one in the livingroom. For some reason thought the setting is set on same, the one in the nursery spins much faster. Does anyone know if that is natural? Or is it a mistake? Ron Rezek's Ball Fan |
