Parents need to find another coping mechanicism other than it's just stuff to keep their kids alive and themselves out of prison.Yea it's only stuff that can be replaced. as another pointed out replacement takes duplicating of resources that has been spent to obtain the original stuff. Destruction of stuff is the destruction of time, AFIK no one has yet figured out to replace lost time. Excusing the behavior of the kids and the parents, along with other adults in the picture irritates me to no end. Most days I carry a Shrade pocket knife with a legal length SS blade that sharpens and holds an edge(straight) well. I recall I paid in the neighborhood of $10 for it, and hadn't lost it for over 10 years now. A light weight slim knife that carries easily, and handles just great.
