i made this last weekend, it was a great desert for a cold bla winter day. i substituted pecans for the walnuts and also made the caramel sauce. the sauce came out kind of grainy (i think i cooked it too long) but it was still a great accompaniment to the pudding, and since the pudding is almost gone the sauce will be used over ice cream! the pudding was great for breakfast as well, and even better the next day!
