I agree with make also....but I use a bread machine. Its less expensive than heating up the oven for one loaf of bread. Also I can make bread in the summer with out adding more heat to an already overheated house.

I love that I can throw all the ingredients in there late on Sunday night and have bread waiting for us in the morning.

There are a few places in the US where you cant plant crown vetch, due to its significantly invasive nature. I've been trying to eradicate it from my front yard for 5 years now, as it engulfs all my other plantings.

Here's some additional information about it. Please read this before you consider planting it in your garden.

my neighbor (who's house is 20 or so feet from mine) likes to dance naked in his room with all the shades up and the windows open. he does normally does this at 3 or 4 am and has flashing lights in his room that will wake up the people in my house. Its a eye-opening sight when you mistakenly look the wrong way and see him. (nope he's not hot, reminds me of 'ugly naked guy' from the show Friends).

You could try using vinegar in a spray bottle on a very sunny day. The acid in the vinegar combined with the sun should start killing the weed. You'll probably need to do this multiple times before the plant is totally dead.

I add some of this along with a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to my coffee grounds in my drip machine. It is a wonderful way to get a 'kick in the pants' to get going in the am!

Would there be a possibility of adding a small solar charged fountain near the water line, (maybe on a floating base to adjust with the water level)?
I believe if the water surface is moving constantly, the bugs would be less inclined to lay eggs in it.

I just purchased and used Seventh Generation Multi-Surface Cleaner, this week. BOY did my house smell good! and it cleaned everything I needed it to, including a messy spotted stove top. I highly recommend it.

I use a program called www.thedailyplate.com, which provides similar benefits and is free to use for their basic level. I like that daily plate has the option to add foods and create recipes, as well as the charts etc.

Its been pretty helpful for me so far.

cinnamon and double sided tape. works great and smells nice too

take a piece of double sided carpet tape and put across the threshold of any door ( or anywhere you dont want ants to cross). peel off the top paper and sprinkle cinnamon on the second (up facing) side of the 2xsided tape. this keeps the cinnamon from blowing away.

last year, i only had to do this once as the cinnamon i used lasted all season. i use it in windows, door frames, pretty much everywhere.
